We are going to hold the 8th conference "ISCIU8". The theme of this conference is the " Nano-science　and Engineering ".


  Nano-science and engineering is the research field that can create a new scientific and
engineering world through nano-scale cutting edge research by combining science with technology.
It is expected that nano-science and engineering can make significant contributions
to the tremendous innovation in the fields of information industries, life sciences, medical services, and environmental issues.


  Nano-science and engineering is, hence, a key technology which creates bright future for human beings. 
  We have had many issues like the Great East Japan Earthquake and atomic power plant failure which should be solved by human wisdom.
  We hope that each of us attending this meeting will feel,
think, embrace and acquire the new constructive ideas through the various fields of learning to this conference program.



Now, shall we start to think about the construction of a bright, environmentally friendly, healthy, and comfortable future ubiquitous society?
